KidTherapy - About Us

KidTherapy is a well-established comprehensive pediatric private practice with two locations in Chester and Martinsville New Jersey. KidTherapy is a state-of-the art sensory integration clinic which offers Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy. KidTherapy also offers Social Facilitation services with professionals trained in child development and psychology. We are dedicated to providing the most up-to-date individualized children's therapy services by highly trained and experienced therapists.

Children come to KidTherapy to develop sensory processing abilities, communication and learning skills, fine and gross motor skills as well as visual motor/perception, play and social abilities. Our facility utilizes a wide variety of treatment approaches to provide services to children with various diagnoses including Autistic Spectrum Disorders such as Asperger's Syndrome and PDD, Sensory Integration Dysfunction, attention/focus issues (ADD/ADHD), auditory processing and various learning disabilities.

When working with children with communication, sensory, motor and socialization issues, a sensory integration approach along with language therapy and social interventions (including behavioral training and affect and relationship based (DIR) approaches) enables these children to become more comfortable and successful with everyday activities at school and at home. We offer a dynamic program to facilitate social skill development using individual and group therapies as well as family counseling.

KidTherapy also provides extensive therapies for children with neurological disorders, such as Cerebral Palsy, and orthopedic impairments. We offer specialized OT, PT, and ST services incorporating Neuro-Developmental Treatment, TheraSuit Method^TM, general gross motor development, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, manual therapy and management of feeding and swallowing disorders.

Other therapeutic programs that are integrated into treatment sessions include self-regulation programs to work on focus and attention, listening programs, Brain Gym^TM and PROMPT^TM. We also offer multi-sensory handwriting and movement groups, Fast ForWord^TM and Interactive Metronome®. These programs help children to develop skills to help improve language and learning differences, reading and writing impairments, attention weaknesses, auditory processing, motor coordination and praxis skills.

KidTherapy is dedicated to providing individualized therapeutic programs for each child we serve to develop skills to reach his/her maximum potential at school and home.
