The TheraSuit MethodTM
The TheraSuit MethodTM is an intensive and specific therapeutic exercise program for children and adolescents with neurological involvement such as Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays and Traumatic Brain Injury. The TheraSuit MethodTM is also ideal for post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation.
The TheraSuit MethodTM refers to three different adaptations which can be used in isolation or in combination: (1) TheraSuit, (2) Universal Exercise Unit, and (3) "Spider Cage" to increase functionality.
The TheraSuit is a soft dynamic vest and shorts which provides for proprioceptive orthosis and stabilization of the trunk of the body.
The Universal Exercise Unit is a system of pulleys, straps and splints that enables a patient to perform independent movement while gravitational forces are eliminated through the suspension of the body part that is being exercised.
The "Spider Cage" is a dynamic system of elastic cords which also allows for independent movement while the body is supported. It constantly provides a dynamic midline that always directs movement towards the center to make that movement habitual and functional.
TheraSuitTM is the only one of these devices in the United States registered with the Federal Drug Administration and meeting all requirements and regulation.

- Improve muscle strength and tone
- Increase range of motion for development of functional movement patterns
- Prevent joint contractures
"Spider Cage"
- Provide the right amount of support and resistance to develop and improve isolated movements for functional skills
- Promote developmental milestones
- Improve balance and coordination
- Improve sensory integration
